Community Manager / Social Media Relations
Waterloo, ONRSS is how you get your daily fix of news, twitter is where you live, and you love to build online communities – you’re what we’re looking for! You describe yourself as an optimist with an upbeat attitude, and you’re looking to make a big impact given the right opportunity.
There aren’t a lot of formal requirements for this position. Previous community management isn’t a requirement, but it would definitely move you to the top of the queue! You just need to be passionate about RSS, connecting people and have a strong grasp of the English language.

AideRSS is a well-funded startup based in Waterloo, ON that is focused on helping people deal with information overload and find and ‘Read What Matters’. We believe that RSS is the glue of the internet, and social media is not just a passing fad.
We practice a Scrum/eXtreme Programming based agile development methodology. As such our environment is more collaborative than most, focusing on teamwork, constant feedback and informal communication. We primarily use open-source software, and believe in contributing back to the community.
