Junior Software Engineer

AideRSS is looking for talented junior software engineers to help build the next generation technologies to help people deal with information overload and find and ‘Read What Matters’.  We offer a casual work environment, great location, competitive salary and a chance to hone your craft on state-of-the-art technology.

Are you excited about coding? Do you want to deepen your programming skills and learn the latest web methods, languages and APIs? Do you know how to just start coding and get to the working code? Then we'd love to talk to you.

Here are the specific skills that we are looking for:

• At least 2 years of programming experience
• Hands on experience with Ruby, Python, PHP or JavaScript
• Passion for coding
• Deep understanding of basic data structures and algorithms
• Knowledge of XML and HTML

The following skills will be considered a plus:

• Experience with modern REST APIs including del.icio.us, Flickr, etc.
• Prior experience with Amazon Web Services
• An up to date blog
